Junior and Senior Open Round One Draws:
The Junior and Senior Open draws for Round One are now available via the menu to the left. If you have any trouble viewing the draws please let us know. All teachers should check carefully that their teams have been allocated and should also check whether they have been scheduled to adjudicate.We have tried to accomodate teachers who had a preference for which session they wanted to adjudicate; where they information was not available we were unable to do so. Remember, adjudication duties by teachers are compulsory and are what keep this competition alive. Thanks for all your efforts.
Extra Team Capacity:
Lastly, in response to some queries, we have reviewed the entries and draws and besides Junior and Advanced Premier there are no extra vacancies in the other grades. The central zone, for example, is already bursting.
Up to three extra teams will be allowed in the Junior Premier grade. These may be new teams. Extra teams may also be allowed in Advanced Premier - though these must be Advanced Open teams that transfer accross. Email the Committee as soon as possible to be considered for these spots.
Advanced Premier Round One:
Teams need to arrive at Grammar for the moot announcement at 5.30pm. Their debate will start at 6.30pm. We recommend that teams aim to arrive at least fifteen minutes beforehand and meet in classroom E1. The draw and topic will be announced in E1 right on 5.30pm.

Session Two
Teams need to arrive at Grammar for the moot announcement at 7.00pm. Their debate will start at 8.00pm. As above, we recommend that teams aim to arrive at least fifteen minutes beforehand and meet in classroom E1 where the draw and moot will be announced.

Teams will not find out the moot, side or opposition until they arrive on Wednesday evening. If for any reason you do not know how to get to Auckland Grammar school or where to go on arrival all that information is posted on the website under the 'Venues' section.
